Tuning a b14 calum basic ecu
i would just like to know how to tune a b14 calum basic ecu... anyone have a write up.. Or teach me, how. I got my computer to connect and i watch all the gauges on calums program.... but thats all i know how to do......

Is it a basic or real time?

If basic then you need a rom burner to burn a new chip.

basic.... as it says in the title, ok after getting that how do i do it. i also need to raise the rev limit from 8100 to 9000

Use tunerpro to raise the rev limit. If you are wanting to go to 9k, then there will be no rev limiter, it doesnt read that high. Also, in calums section on the old forum, he has a writeup on how to burn the roms.

burning a rom for b13 is the same for b14 but the chip is under the daugherboard....y or n

Yes. Its really not that hard. B14s are a bit of a pain because of the large board, but other than that its the same. On both I use ZIF sockets and the chips are burned with the same image to keep things nice and easy.
