I'm pretty sure there is not. It would be nice if those familiar with the Calum ECUs would at least touch on areas that aren't intuitive or are different than typical engine management systems. A complete "how to" would be super nice.

It is like any other engine management system really for tuning. B14's and B13's differ on values for fuel map, but otherwise they are basically the same for tuning.

B14 you just put target AFR on map. I forget how the B13 is calculated, but that is documented already on forum, found it before.

Maps are TP (NOT throttle position) vs RPM

They are VERY easy and intuitive IMO

Grab tunerpro, the correct XDF file, and a base bin then go to town on it.

This is because of the MAF sensor. This is one major difference between tuning with a Calum ECU and tuning with a typical MAP-based EMS at least.

Even if it was a MAP sensor it could be the same...

TP is just a calculated load value.

And of course there are difference between MAP and MAF tuning.

so i am not the only one out there lookin to learn, what programs do i need to tune the calum basic ecu. like i have an apexi v-afc, i know how to tune with that, just wondering its its better to tune the ecu rather then use the apexi v-afc

Using a fuel piggy back like v-afc on top of a Calum ECU has always been a ridiculous combination to me. It basically says you were too lazy to learn how to tune the Calum ECU.

Rom editor is inferior to tuner pro

Nistune is cool and all but between tuner pro and calumsult there is no need.
