I didn't read that entire site, but the Calum basic only holds "one map". The confusion is that there are 2 chips on the basic, but both chips hold the same program.
If you wanted diff't maps for the basic, then you can have the maps on other chips and swap the chips when you want to change - a PITA, but not a big deal if you know you are going to the track or filling up with 100 octane, etc.
If you want to swap programs almost instantly then the Calum basic isn't what you need.

yea, i have a basic already, i'm just now starting to mess with tuner pro, all kinds of questions about it though. Planning on getting a moates and burning chips myself.
