Thanks guys.

CATCAMS Introduction page: the pearly gates to engine power!

They cost me a little over £400, about what it would cost to get some JWTs over here.

I didn`t even dial them in. I just dropped them in.

I'm going to make sure this is up to date soon, but for now I've added Ahston's entry. Instead of using the STD numbers or the SAE numbers (I prefer to list SAE on here) I just went with what the dyno chart shows since it is in the middle of those two numbers. =]

He's at the top of the turbo VE list, and the top of the specific output (forced induction) list as well. Congratulations Ashton!

I'm catching up on entries. I just added mera red gti (from 2011-01-08) to the N/A DE list slotting in at position #3 knocking me off that list. I have two (1.1 1.2 1.3, 2) huge entries from a while back that just never made it on the list for one reason or another. The first one the dyno chart isn't hosted anymore and the way back machine can't get it which is a total shame. The other one never got added because I can't tell if it is WHP or HP.

Edit: sdrmiami thinks he'll be able to find the dyno sheet image still! Nice.

Ashton's latest dyno numbers have spurred me on to get this damn list up to date. After almost two and a half years, I've finally added sdrmiami's entry. He's making the most power on the list, and makes the most specific output. Hopefully this can give something for Ashton to aim for?
He's also the first entry to be officially added that has been bored (or stroked). Obviously the big bore VE guys need to get on this list ASAP.

sdrmiami says he has a VE head now and will have newer numbers sometime. So watch for that too.

Thanks man.. Ive been working on a new setup and now doing the VE swap. I did the 796 with full exhaust so My last dyno on the car (with my old setup) i dumped the exhaust @ 19psi and gained allmost 80whp. once i put it up to 30 psi i started stretched the head suds and did 720whp @ 6200rpm (23psi) this was all on my z32 5speed and running e85. no i will be auto with e85. let see b/c this auto is going to eat allot of my hp.. oh well..

thanks for all your support guys and if i can help anyone please feel free to drop me a PM of call me 3059921514 mike

I've added rowdy-gti's new entry from 2011-03-06 and he's not at the top of the 2L N/A DE list moving Viprdude's entry off the bottom spot.

Congrats!

martin7937, your entry says 159WHP but 117.22 KW converts to 157.13HP from what I can tell, which keeps you JUST off of the top ten list. :o
