Just got the rally car tuned yesterday. I'm not sure if the results are good or not. It seems like several people have made better results with FAR less work/parts, but here goes. This engine was built two years ago, but only has about 30 miles on it. I'll link the dyno sheet once I get it uploaded/emailed. Best result was 159.9 whp/143.8 wtq. This was on the 29th pull with no cool down.
Engine build:
USDM DE block, .020 over with Wiseco pistons-final compression 10.4, GTIR oil pump with Greg V crank pulley, JWT C2 cams, gears set at +2/-2, Ferrea 1mm oversized valves and springs, Ti retainers, 5 way valve job, gasket match ported head, phenolic spacers, cold air intake, N60 MAF, 370 cc injectors, NISMO FPR set at 50 psi, Calum RT board tuned at Batlground in Atlanta.

We tuned for nearly two hours, trying to get everything maximized, but just couldn't get it over 160, let alone the 175 I expected. I'll go back soon and try bringing down the fuel pressure. We maximized timing, tried a colder plug, etc, but were stuck at 159 for 6 or 7 pulls. I supposed a cool down would help, any thoughts?

I can post the bin file if anyone wants to have a look.

Here is the dyno chart. I checked cam timing and it seems as though they are set at -4/+4 instead of the other way around as they are supposed to be. I will be heading back to the dyno to check things out and adjust cam timing to make more power.

Interesting difference tuning can make, amount of horsepower is close enough for dyno error but mine is shifted right to the top end, JWT custom tune from when SCC had the car.

Great for driving a sustained high speeds or at least high rpm. I think that is why as my driving improves, the car shows more power on the track than the numbers would indicate. It really jumps when I pass someone at higher speeds, likely because I have peak hp from 6200 all the way out to 7400 (or more, that is where we stopped, redline is 7800, 8000 cutoff).

Not as great lower down or peak torque, possibly also due to the SSAC header and 2.5" DP, full 2.5" custom SS cat-back and Magna HFC. Maybe a little large for good lower end torque, our intakes are very similar, that's where most of the difference is other than the JDM 10:1 motor which IIRC really only differs in the piston shape and head, but nothing radically better in the head flow.

You can see it here about 2 minutes in, all top end driving, every car I jump past on the straight except the MR2 has significantly more hp, but my increase from ~100 mph up to ~120 mph is very quick for just 140 whp. The "New Beetle" was evening running a Turbo, power but no handling.

The car just rocks once it is up to speed, faster than my other B13's SR20DE with JWT S3 cams and JWT POP-tuned ECU. That car has more balls at 5500 rpm but does not run to 7000+ nearly as well.

Never ceases to impress me what you get even with stock internals in the SR...

796whp and 578wtq @ 7600rpm with 36 psi on e85 (dyno charts show output at the wheel, not flywheel). We are sure that we could get allot more but had a few issues we were dealing with like spinning on the dyno and boost controller shutting me down at 30 psi .. Please guys, there is a discussion thread for a reason. This thread is for dyno results only.
Mods, please move these last 3 posts (including mine) to the discussion thread.
Ashton, there's pics of his setup in this thread: http://www.sr20-forum.com/311170-post65.html

Posts removed, and I didn't transfer them to the other thread since it would take more to link them back to the poster's information.

For future reference people, please don't post in this thread with your comments. Post a comment in the GENERAL DISCUSSION thread that Ben has created, and perform a linkback to the poster's comment here in this thread.

Thanks.

New Dynosheet:

The only changes from the first dyno session are that I'm running a B13 Realtime that hasn't been fine tuned yet. Same boost, same everything else. Lost power but because I was running so rich. AFR's were in the low 10's. Will bring down the K value a little bit and see what happens.

EDIT: Mod list here: http://www.sr20-forum.com/tuning/10391-most-powerful-engines-thread-dyno-thread-powerful-cars-tuners-4.html#post285554

From this weekend. Same mods, except ~19psi. Cleaned up the fuel table a bit, but need to work the timing map now.
