I had to change the OPEN TO CLOSED DETLA and CLOSED TO OPEN DELTA parameters to get it to idle down when the clutch was depressed. Also the idle is more touchy to get stable. I had a tune with the VE TB and my excessive plenum, the only thing that changed was the TB so the direct changes were the result of the bigger TB.

The NEMU has so many parameters and it can seem overwhelming, but they do help you dial in the tune when you start changing things. Even a stock VE with bolt ons is very easy to tune and many of these parameters do not need to be changed. But when you start installing different intake manifolds and TBs they come in handy. And the changes happen instantly so you know if it made a positive change or negative.

You mean it was idling high with the clutch depressed at idle? and a "touchy idle", you mean the a/f ratio? Are you running an IACV valve with the excessive?

You had no trouble with hitting fuel cut around 2,000rpm? Also what about enrichment? and are you using MAF or MAP?

The idle would bounce after the clutch was depressed coming to a stop, and it would sometimes hang higher as well. This might be a VE thing though, I thought you had a VE. I am also running MAP, which I like better than MAP to be honest. I no fuel cut issues, well at first when I hit the Over Boost limit, but after adjusting that, no. Not sure the basic has the Over Boost feature.

Are you using an IACV?

Tunercode basic has the overboost tables but there all at 255 by defult. My understanding is you would just lower the load amount to just above your max load, so if you overboost for some reason it would hit the higher "load" and then cut out.

I had to adjust 2 of the 6 "fuel cut overrun" tables to the highest amount (which is 5750rpm or so) so that I wouldn't hit fuel cut around 2,000rpm (I would have a very low TPS reading at that RPM) obviously at 5750rpm my tps reading is a lot higher
