Yea, that's what I thought. I experienced the bounce too with speed set to 10mph. I think what is happening is that when the tires actually hook up, the speed can drop back below the launch speed limit and re-invoke the launch rev limiter. I haven't had a chance to experiment with it, so I thought I'd ask for feedback. Any suggestions on how to make it better are appreciated.

well because I wasnt hooking anyway with the launch control at 4000rpm and street tires, I liked the bounce off the 4k limit, i felt it helped me to hook.

I dont know if it made my times faster as I only used slicks and 8000rpm launch limits at the track

I should mention that I've added hysteresis to the launch speed limit for the new SA version of TunerCode for NismotronicRT and NEMU.

How would those of you using the launch rev limit like to see it operate?

Thanks,
Dave

Is this the same as launch control where you can build pressure without load like anti lag. I tried it today, but I got no pressure. Injector pulsewidth are 6ms but wideband say I am running lean at 20 afr. Is this just lower rev limiter without pressure buildup?

Until the new version is available, you can enable spark cut to get some anti-lag boost while on the launch limiter, however this can be damaging to the exhaust system/turbo, so use your own judgement. Anti-lag enrichment and timing, along with RPM and TPS triggers, are programmable in the new version.

How do I do this?. Check on soft cut in misc and nothing on hard cut.

Enable the "HardCut" checkbox on the "Misc" tab enables spark cut. It's in the Help under "Misc Items".

So hard cut adds the spark, as well as fuel? Isn't this how people get flame balls? But I'm sure it can be good for the motor
