From what I have delt with TunerCode and Nismotronic so far, you and John are clearly very thorough.

Looking forward to the update.

You should try retuning a BikiRom, thats tuning with um.... clubs and dinosaurs??? lol. Ive got a couple of mates with them, such a shame Biki didnt get developed, was pretty good platform.

Just to clairify this maf to map sensor conversion, is now only going to be for people running the NEMU and not for the basic board with tunercode anymore? If so, i fully understand. Gotta keep the development towards the best tuning solution (NEMU)

Correct.

It is only for those with NEMU RT boards, we are not supporting the basic platform at this time.

Yes, since the MAP sensor is powered from the box, you just run the 0-5V output (green wire) and sensor ground (black wire) to the MAF sensor inputs on the ECU.

The MAP sensor is temperature compensated internally to reduce temperature drift and produce accurate pressure readings, but it won't give you AIT.

The initial release of TunerCode with MAF->MAP conversion will not be a true "speed-density" system, in that it does not use AIT to calculate the density of the air entering the engine. It will be more like the AEM system in that the fuel map will contain actual base injector pulse widths. Therefore, an AIT sensor will not be mandatory until an actual speed-density version is developed. That being said, there will still be AIT fuel and timing trim tables available for tuning, and it is highly recommended to include an AIT sensor to compensate for temperature extremes.

Yes, you should definitely look into running an IAT sensor.

You actually can wire it into the EGR temp sensor input on the ECU, and run the other wire to ground.

So excited for this to get worked out. This could be finally an affordable solution for running itbs.

Management has been the only thing holding me back.
