You didn't look then. It is very VERY clear the exact ecu's it is for.

I don't see how you can say it is useless, because the only issue was hardware compatibility for programmable outputs, which is an optional feature. I ask all customers to send their current bin to verify compatibility. The bin you sent for that purpose was a 64Y01, which is supported, however the ECU you are trying to run it on is a 53J00, which is not yet supported.

I'm sorry the 53J00 ECU is not hardware compatible with the 64Y01 bin, but I don't think it is fair to blame the firmware for an issue that is clearly not a fault with the product.

I regret that I cannot answer your question with a degree of certainty that would make it easier for you to make that decision. I do know that TunerCode is available now for OBDI ECUs.

I definitely don't think you can say TunerCode is "useless" for anything outside of the USA.

The problem is purely a hardware one, not a firmware. The ECUs are not the same and can't be expected to have the same exact hardware, but the firmware otherwise has proven to run the car just fine.

And in all honesty the benefits of tunercode and the future expandability of the firmware (Speed Density, closed loop wideband support, etc) definitely make it a much better solution than the factory code. Not to mention the tons of information you are given with the purchase and the ability to log just about every single detail about the ECU.

I wouldn't be surprised if you ran a supported ECU in your car (from the US) and gain full functionality without an issue.

We have similar issues with Honda ECUs all the time between JDM/EDM/USDM with outputs/inputs not being available on all ECUs, but most will run the firmware without modification.

Sorry about that guys, Tunercode is far from useless, and i guess i was just ranting a bit.

It is quite understandable that the design of the ECU's is different, and i will post up in the classified section and see if someone has any spare ecu's that i could buy and get them to post out to me, and then i know all this problem will go away.

I havent even had a chance to scratch the surface of what else tunercode can do, and i know i have a lot to learn.

I have a couple ECUs for sale, I could definitely cut you a decent deal on one with a daughter board already installed.
