The benefits of the RT is the fact that you have a single connection for Emulation and Datalogging. It allows for realtime tuning and logging which is definitely a plus.
The basic has the same capabilities if you use a dual ostrich emulator setup and a consult logging cable. It just isn't as convenient as a RT setup which only requires a single connection.
TunerCode offers a TON of logging parameters over the standard Consult protocol. Check out Dave's Website for the parameters that you can log.

So I would need two emulators to act like a RT??
Trying to understand exactly what the emulators do, I've done a little research on the subject but was wondering exactly how they work on our ecu's.
Can tunercode be used with the moates ostrich 2.0? It lists tunerpro so I figured yes...
I have a moates burner, do I need to just get rid of it and use the emulator instead or is the burner still used to burn the base tune for the chips?
