This does not mean that there will not be support in the future for the OBD2 TunerCode firmware, but the STOCK OBD2 firmware will not be added to the supported ROMs for NismoTronic.

I was thinking this is great until I read this

While I'm waiting on my ecu, I've been working on making a bin. Something I never thought about though. Since the ecu is a b13, even though it's going into a b14, do I need to use a bin for a b13? Or would there be any real differences?

While looking for bins to pull table values from, I've been grabbing ones for b14's. Should I be looking at the ones for b13's?

Just wodering how it would differ with the obd1 and obd2 bins.

There a lot of differences, but you will definitely run a B13 bin on a B13 ECU regardless. Also, B14 tables/maps will not work in a B13 bin.

Dave

PS: To distinguish between the two, I call 2D tables "tables", and 3D tables, "maps".

Dave, do you remember if it was b13 files you sent me with the Tunercode firmware, or was it for a b14? The file is named: 64Z05 32K.bin

I'm glad I thought of this before I got in too deep with the bin I'm working on.

Tim,

64Z is for B13 SR20DE, among others.

I've updated the About page at TunerCode.com to include these TunerCode IDs.

Thanks,
Dave
