John,
You should add more preloaded types of maf sensors people commonly use like VE maf and b14 maf values for the crowd that have VE swaps.

I didnt even know the b13/b14 sr20 maf sensor values were different! Lots people have b14's with ve swaps and are using the step down harness with the stock b14 sr20 maf sensor.

How come in nismotronic when you go to maf type you can only select like 3 or 4 maf's? Which then in turn does not even change to the correct VQ scale? Whats the point of that part of the software?

To actually change the maf/vq scale you have to click the other button "maf scale" or something. Then you get the big list of different mafs which then finally changes to the correct vq scale.

When are the new updates coming out John, for the new gauge types?

Evan,

That drop down list that you are referring to was a deprecated menu that I got rid of in the RT version a few months ago.. It's only purpose was to show you your current MAF without actually going to the MAF window screen.

The VQ Table window is where all MAF changes/rescaling should be done!

I am not sure if I am going to be updating the gauges/graphing or much of the code with the regular version at this point. My main attention is on the RT version, that is where all of the development is going.

BUT if I do get a spare second I will see if I can slide in the new updates for the regular version of NismoTronic (it has been discontinued).

Can anyone explain the Fuel Cut Accel Inj table? How does this affect and when does it work when driving?

Also, could the Thumbnail for the RT program be different to the old Nismotronic? I still use both and need to hover over the icon to see which one is which.

The "Fuel Cut Accel Inj" table is used when fuel cut is active, otherwise the "Accel Inj" table is used to calculate asynchronous accel injection (aka "accelerator pump" back in the old carburetor days).

Um ok. How do you use accel injection fuel while in fuel cut, ie the pedal is fully released?

Also in the Maf list, there is a sr20ve n15 maf, and a sr16ve n16 maf. Neither of these cars exist. There is a sr20ve P11 maf and Sr16ve N15 maf. Just wondering if the n15 maf is actually the sr16ve or its just the car models that are listed incorrect?

When the throttle closes, if the RPM is high enough, overrun fuel cut is active, which causes leaner than normal (at idle) conditions in the intake manifold. If you then open the throttle, accel injection needs to squirt more fuel than it would if at idle.

Dave

The SR20VE / SR16VE titles are correct, I can update that MAF selector to reflect these changes.
