Can you give us an indication of cost for NismoTronic? Im debating Nistune atm, as it seems to have everything i need and more, but the cost is holding me back atm.

Cheers

No,nistune does not have this.*I am referring to*AFR target calculation based on logged AFR like a spreadsheet or a Basemapper not Autotune like nistune.Autotune AFR in Nistune is a very low process.

At the moment the program will only support the TunerCode firmware.

I have not made the decision to support the stock code since I believe that the TunerCode firmware is a MUCH better system and will lead to quicker AND better end results.

As far as cost is concerned, if you already have TunerCode you are more than halfway there. But if you don't, you will have to purchase both TunerCode and the software to use it.

I haven't fully decided on a price range yet so when I know more I will keep you guys posted, but I can assure you the cost will be reasonable.

ALSO, if you haven't purchased TunerCode and would like to "Try" the software out, I will have a non-time limited trial mode in the software that will allow you to open and work with the bin files. It just won't log/emulate/save the files.

what ecu's are people suppose to use with this?? calum realtime and basics?

the thing is calum doesnt do ecu's any more, and As far as I know no one else is doing the realtimes either.. so your going to be pretty limited on customers..

i do know that people are making the basic ecu's but even then to tune in real time you have to have a bunch of crap an by the time all is said an done might as well have got a nistune setup.. im not tryin to bash your product, it looks pretty sweet.. im just tryin to figure out who the target consumers are since theres not really many options left out there..

now if you started producing realtime ecu's with the tunercode an all that mess then you'd be in business!!

First sentence of first post has your answer.

Also you can't directly compare the cost of a Tunercode setup to a Nistune setup. They aren't the same thing. You might want to read some more to understand what Tunercode is really.

I have tunercode and really nistune does not compare with tunercode. The amount of features that offers tunercode are excellent.

ok after some research im still in the same boat, it only works with calum realtime ecu's or basic ecu's using the ostrich setup (atleast thats what im seein) so unless your one of the lucky ones with a calum realtime your stuck using the ostrich setup.. i guess if ya dont mind messin with chips an crap its no big deal..

i have checked out tunercode several times an i agree its VERY NICE!! but still same problem.. calum is gone so wheres the market for this stuff? it would be cool if someone took over where calum left off an brought back his style of realtime ecu's.. or if dave an matt work things out an implement it into nistune..

again im not tryin to bash anyone i think this stuffs pretty cool, im just not seein what good its gonna do for those that cant get a realtime ecu.. or even a basic but then theres the chip burning thing an havin to buy the ostrich an whatever else..
