[Update 8/29/11]

I added a new PDF viewer for the help section so please test this function out to make sure all is well. To download the newest version you can either update the program and then manually download the "Help" folder from the online directory OR you can download the zip file which will have all of the new help items in the zip file with the new exe.

The "Help" folder should be located here and all of the pdf files should be inside.

The PDF Viewer looks something like this.

Do you think you could make it so Nismotronic opens the most recent bin file on startup? I generally only tune my car, and its a pain having to open the file everytime the program crashes.

Also, even tho the program has buttons in the task bar for emulators and data stream from consult, i have to go into the menu everytime on startup as it says it doesnt know what comport, and when i go into the menu the correct comport is already selected and i just hit connect there, be nice if it worked the same from the toolbar. Could there also be a connect button on the task bar for the innovate wideband? Same issue, it always knows its there, but i have to go into options and choose manually to connect to everything.

The program also seems to have issues and crashes if the car stalls and i have to restart, im not sure if it is the data stream or the wideband that is triggering this as they both restart.

I have been using Tunerpro for a bit, but want to persist with Nismotronic as it has had a lot of hard work put into it, its just a bit frustrating to use.

There is an Open Recent menu item that lists your most recently opened file.. you don't have to manually open it every time. "FILE -> Open Recent"

The comport is registered when the program starts. If you plug in the consult cable or the wideband AFTER the program starts, you have to go into settings to refresh the com ports. If you have everything plugged in before you open the program it will connect every time if you have them in the same port. It works perfectly every time.

EVERY TIME YOU HAVE A CRASH I NEED TO SEE THE RUNTIME REPORT ERROR!

I don't want to keep this in the dark, I want to make sure everything is working perfectly. I have used it a few times in the past week on cars and had zero issues!

I will try to test some more with the direct LC1 wideband support to see if that helps!

The program comes up with a little angel window on the desktop after it crashes now, not sure what this is trying to do, but i havent seen the runtime error come up, and the file i think i sent you last time hasnt been updated since april according to the date.

I always have all my usb's plugged into the same ports, and when i go into the setup menu to choose the com port, its always listed on the correct one, and they connect with the connect buttons there, but if i click the connect icon on the tool bar it asks me to select com port. Regardless i need to go into this screen and choose to connect the wideband anyway. Once the program is running it connects ok, just 1st time after starting laptop.

I was getting frustrated with the crashing, thought it might have been my ECUtalk display causing it as i use this in USB mode as consult feed, now have a normal consult cable. Will keep on working on this, i want to get the program to work for me as the wideband integration makes it worthwhile.

Is that runtime error report the most recent, showing your problems?

You can also try deleting your prefs file to see if that fixes the problem.

I did add some checks in the logging portion of the code to check for errors, this will be in an update tomorrow.

If you can keep me posted with the problems you are having I can try to fix them, this will be for the better for everyone that might have the issues in the future!

I don't have any problems with the program with my setup, so I am not sure where the problems are coming from in your case. Keep me posted!!

Pretty sure, but the file date is very old, unless im looking at a old verision of the program in a old folder.

Ok. I think I actually had this same problem a while ago and fixed it recently.

If you keep having this problem, delete your prefs file and give it a shot. It should be ready to go.

DL the newest version of the program from the DL link and if you can let me know how it goes!

I am currently integrating AEM serial wideband support for those of you who would like to log your AEM UEGO gauge in the software!

If you would like to test this feature, please send me a message!
