I thought he was saying it would not scan the OBDII, so we would have to get sensor inputs from other software (like Nissan DataScan)?

But no, its the other way around? We could see data but not edit anything?

I don't understand why I have been reading posts over the last 2 years saying TunerCode was coming to OBDII?

He is saying it will do NOTHING with stock firmware OBD2. No data or editing.

Hey John, am i right in that Nismotronic will open normal obd1 bin files for editing and emulating? I just tried one out of curiousity, and it came up that it is not a tunercode bin, but then the rest of the data looked pretty normal for a non tunercode bin.

So, when it really comes down to it, I need to get off my ass and make a step down to OBDI and sell my b14 calum?

It will open a normal OBD1 bin file, but it will not include all of the tables, just the very basic tables. So, you could edit and emulate a non-TunerCode bin, but you will not be getting all of the features.

I left it this way so people can download the program and open up an example bin while the program is in Trial mode.

Stepping down to OBD1 is definitely the way to go. You will get a bunch more features and it will open up much broader tuning capabilities!

I am looking into getting a decent source for the step down harnesses, my current supplier makes a great product but the price is kind of high.

This software keeps getting better. I think this is truly the way to go. You can't beat the price and features. Cheaper than the e-manage and can surely do more.

Thanks for the support!

I am always open for any suggestions if you see something you want implemented that is not currently in the software, let me know!

Added AF Logging Triggers to help filter out unwanted values on the AF table and AF Difference tables.

The program will only display the logged AF values when the current log values are above the minimum set in this trigger section.

So in this example it would only show the AF ratio on the table when the logged RPM is > 2000, TP > 25 and TPS > 5.

This has no affect on the values that are displayed on the Gauge, Graphing or Data screens.
