The dyno I use makes it very difficult to get down to the passenger floor to keep popping chips in and out. The passenger door will hit the dynapack pod and hinder the door from opening, atleast on a RWD car.

Where in PA are you? I'd like to come shoot the breeze with you sometime.

Short of a standalone this takes tuning to a whole new level, especially when you have access to a wideband, ie Innovate or similar. Congrats on the purchase! Dave, thanks again for an awesome product.

Thanks AB, I'm glad you like it!

Cheers,

Haven't even used it yet, but super happy with the purchase. This is really the greatest thing that could have happened to SR20 stock ECU tuning.

Dave you should look into other OBDI markets (z32 guys, etc.)

i'd like to check this out on my obd2 calum realtime v1..... what should i do?

as far as the firmware thing, isn't that out the door with the whole it's okay to unlock your cell phone now thing???

jwt no cel for obd2 on emmsisions
calum no cel on obd2 for emmisions (everything must remain pluged in)
you can buy "test pipes" on ebay all day some even relocate the rear o2 further out to reduce it's readings
i just don't see any issues as long as there is off road use only in the name of the file or a popup or something.

Wait for it to be released.

Not even close to being the same thing with phone.

*Face palm* you miss the legal issue completely.

Yes.

It requires 2 Moates Ostriches to do this as it needs to emulate 2 separate chips at the same time.

Dave, I already have NismoTronic and I am now looking at what else i need. which is tunercode. Tunercode sounds great, but what about all the other tables/and previously unknown tables.. Nistune/ tunerpro etc.. you can add maps/tables etc.. i dont want to miss out on a table that needs adjustments..I know that tunercode now only looks at the tables/map you list as its been re-written and those other things are not even there now. Are you saying all those other tables/map should not need adjustment?

I have had a lot of trouble tuning my GA16DE on a Calum Basic sr20 ecu... which is mostly all good now. It was very hard to get correct data from the ga16de ecu and try and set up the sr20de bin to run it. (the ga16de bin would not work on an sr20 ecu)

My 200sx with sr20de and calum basic is alot easier to tune since i can use an actual stock bin.

I hope you understand Dave,
sorry for ramblin on lol..
