Question about the fabrication and material.
For some manifolds, I see they have expansion slots in between the flange to allow for material expansion/metal stress relief (if SS is used atleast as compared to mild steel). Would you think this may be a concern with a one piece flange in SS like you guys have (if you guys are using SS that is) or is the time frame for this issue not imperative or a concern??
Not in anyway bashing, but looking into topmount manifolds for a different setup and figured I would ask. Legitimate question here.
In the last 7yrs of building manifolds, we have yet to see the need for expansion slots in between the flange for the current manifolds we have avaiable. We understand the use of them, but we have yet to experience the point of where we have needed the slots.
