Also what price can you get for the DW292K.

I do not want a refurbished unit. I want one that is new. I have seen low priced refubished ones in the $120s.

i just priced it at the employee store $140 shipped, if your interested in a cordless impact just let me know the cat number.

Also, have you ever did a consumer survey for tools?

Why do you ask?

I am using a older DW Impact wrench that belongs to SERICAN. That thing has been in service for atleast 8 years fro sure with no problem. So I am going with what I have seen work. I think the part number for that one is DW290K. The newer one is alot stronger.

Impact Driver have a 1/4" hex shank quick release head for screw bits

Impact Wrench have a 1/2" square with detent pin retention head for your regular socket sets, both of the internals are the same but the heads are different.

The DW290 are discontinued, so the DW292K is your best bet.

With different projects we have going on, we would give endusers tools to collect feedback and design tools based on market research and feedback, so if you would like to test out the 36V cordless Impact wrench i can send it too you; this is my personal unit so i will need it back.

I know the 290 was discontinued. The 292 is the new model which has a way higher torque output.

How does the 36v cordless impact stand up to the 292 corded model. I use this thing to pull off the axle nuts.

I have not used the 292 before nor did a comparison between the two, its like comparing apples to oranges. The DC8000KL (36V impact) have a lower torque output of 325ft-lbs, no load speed of 1,400rpm with 2,500ipm. The DW292 torque output is 345ft-lbs, no load speed of 2,100 with 2,700ipm.
