Joes Racing Tire Pressure Gauge with Hold Valve #32310
I have used at least nineteen pencil tire pressure gauges and maybe seven different circle face "mini" tire pressure gauges. All but one has failed or left me wanting more. This leads me to end up giving them away to others in need or simple gifts for simple occasions.
The best pencil one I own is the one my Father gave me that was made probably before I (or many of you reading this) were born. 60 PSI max, with 1 PSI increments. Clearly marked and consistent as heck. If you know a good pencil one that I can buy brand new, right now, please PM me with your suggestion. I will try the twentieth one for the sake of it. Onto the part review this forum needs and all should have because we all know how important tire pressure is. Four small contact patches control the entire car and small adjustments can impact your ride quality, control, and tire life.
I bought a new gauge that has finally exceeded my expectations. Joes Racing Tire Pressure Gauge with Hold Valve part number 32310 0-60 PSI face (you have to click the drop-down box to view the 0-60 gauge!)
Easy to read, glow in the dark face, 1 PSI increments that are all noted, features the awesome "hold pressure reading" feature. (which for some strange reason you have to pay extra for in a gauge like this) Just press the nozzle over your valve and remove it. BAM, the reading is held until you press the button to release the pressure and take the next reading. This, to me, is invaluable. And also the main reason why I like pencil-type air pressure gauges. You can kneel down, take your reading, step back up and write it down or make sure it is correct.
This is a great product and worth every penny and made both enthusiasts in this household go "yay something nice" for once. P.S. Made In The USA!
The only test left is longevity, expect updates and any other changes in the functionality reported here. I will use it at least every other week. Thanks for reading, I hope this has helped.
