Thread: Need opinions on an air compressor

I'm looking to get an air compressor soon, and I have had my eye on the craftsman professional 27 gal. I would like some first hand opinions on either it or another brand around the same price range. I will mainly be using it for impact, air ratchet, tires, and maybe a sander randomly. May paint a little with it, but would probably just be panels at a time or engine bays.

harbor freight has a 20gal 2.5 hp for $150 good ass deal.

I trust some stuff from there but I don't think I could trust a compressor. I also want oiled for noise, and all the ones I've seen there are oilless.
