I also have a old fluke 10 which is the grand daddy of the 112 and 113. You can have it for free just pay shipping.

Thank you for reminding me about Ebay. Wifey is an Ebay expert. Those prices ($72-100) are
much more reasonable. I'd obviously go with the model 113 pictured at $72.00. That I could justify for the best name brand.
However, I would be extremely grateful and be glad to pay shipping on your extremely generous offer on your "old" Fluke model 10. I can Paypal you the shipping amount easily enough. That would be absolutely terrific.

Have you looked around for a used Fluke? You might be able to get best of both worlds.
I'm looking at Cotrim's "used Fluke" right now.
But you are correct, I need to make sure that before I buy that I:
1) Check with the forum. Duh.
2) Have wifey check Ebay for used, open-boxes, and demo's. All of which are usually substantially cheaper. (72...yep. 135...ouch).
Funny enough, I bought a $200.00 file cabinet yesterday at Office Max. Marked down to $140.00 with the advertisement. Scratch-n-dent returned unit,
minor cosmetics only, for....drumroll....$75.00. They asked me if I would be interested. I said "load it up, sold!"
Cotrim if your model 10 "pre-owned Fluke" is available, I'd absolutely appreciate it.
