Shop GearWrench 35-Piece MicroDriver Set at Lowes.com

I also have a set of ratcheting screw/nut drivers from the same brand, and ratchet wrenches in standard and metric. I never leave home without either if I'm going to work on something. Most of the time I'm working on projects that require small diameter tools and the first tool I posted is AMAZING in tight areas. I prefer gearwrench to any other brand due to the amount of ratcheting they have per revolution. Only brand that I've found that is comparable is Snap on and I won't spend the money.

Nice! I have a friend that carries a similar set around in his car... unbelievably useful/versatile. I may have to run over to lowes to snag a set at that price.

I can't recommend that kit enough. I own 2 of them. One stays at the house and one gets taken with me. It's GREAT in tight spaces and the backside is knurled so you can use your fingers to tighten stuff. Best bang for buck I've spent on tools in quite some time.

I like my mini 3 lb sledge. Smack the shit out of stuff in close quarters.

Air hammer. Makes removing fan clutches so easy.

I'm throwing the pocket screw driver out there again.

A long peice of pipe to use as a cheater bar on whatever.

Hooking 2 wrenches for leverage together is fucking awesome.

Really big pick or a phillips bent at 90 degrees. Got a hose that's stuck on? Jam the pick in there, spray some carb clean on it, hose is off.

I got this combination wire stripper cutter that's awesome:

just did my taxes, spent over $3k last year on tools.
'tools' and 'inexpensive' don't usually go in the same sentence

but the true life line, 1001 uses, a simple pocket screwdriver

usually free too

2 more thing I needed to Add ... Unbreakable hammer ... That thing cost me a pretty penny but it knocks everything loose and my scanner aka the money maker.

Dead blow hammer
24" ratcheting breaker bar
Calipers (like above, you will never realize how much you'll use them until you have them).

Craftsman ratchets. Ive broken so many of them and I just drive down the street to sears and get new ones. And an electric impact gun that we have in the shop. Broken so many rusted bolts loose with it.

Best universal piston retraction tool I've seen yet. (Don't use on rear caliper pistons that need to be "screwed" in).

Here are 3 of mine that come to mind.

*note* linked to amazon just for reference and convenience. These may or may not be the best/cheapest/whatever place to get these.

Impact Driver - I used to *HATE* old frozen screws... now I love them! This guy is the bomb:
Impact Driver

Calipers - I have an analogue set. I never knew how much I would end up using these until after I got them. I pull them out just about every time I'm in the garage.
Digital Calipers

Vice grips - I have a set of expensive sockets designed to removing stripped/rounded bolts, but generally I just use these to loosen stripped bolts or studs. Saved my ass countless times.
Vice Grips

All are must haves.Impact screwdiver is awesome for injector cap screws especially!!

I got a cool Harborfreight 1/2"drive ratchet that telescopes for more torque, and stores pretty compact that is sweet .12.99

"inexpensive" is subjective on some of the stuff i will post.......invaluable!? yes.

EZ red ratcheting long handle wrenches.

hose pliers

snap on swivel head 3/8 drive ratchet

pliers for those plastic clips that hold the under panels on new cars.....you know.....the ones you always use a flat head on that ends up breaking them, making them more and more impossible to remove.

those are my 4 most invaluable tools. i have PLENTY of other stuff.......but these things make my days sooooooo much easier
