Got the spindle back from the powdercoater, and had accumulated all the hardware in the meantime. I ended up welding some 1/2" washers to the trailing arms to reduce the bolt hole from 14 mm to 1/2" (the bearing size). All this stuff was installed yesterday in Tim's car, the difference in articulation was very apparent.

The new hardware is high quality American made "AN" airframe bolts and locknuts. Much better than hardware store crappy imported "grade 8" stuff you typically see. I used 1/2" long x 1/2" ID tapered shock spacers, and finally some Seals-it rod end seals.

I'm running the seals inverted, as a monoball doesn't allow for them to fit in their typical manner. It works out well however. I did trim one side's OD down with a pair of scissors for a better fit inside the monoball housing.
