Did you clean the MS? prepping the surface-wise ? try to bump up the argon a bit to 18-20cfh, try to use less heat depending on which machine you are using; some required more, some required less, need to find a pool and have a comfortable speed. On steels I use 1/16" tungsten typically SS I setup @ 33a and MS @ 48a, have encountered problems when didnt prep normally requiring more heat. Try some different settings, find a happy medium, most of all have fun

where are the rest of the fab from other members ????

Here's a t3 bottom mount manifold I'm building for my personal b13 build. 1st manifold I've ever attempted, coming out OK I think.

Thanks! I'm using the AHP Alpha tig200. Mild steel head flange, 304ss sch10 runners, t3 flange and collector. Using a #14 cup, argon set at 25-28cfh, orange tungsten, 308L filler rod, 309 for flange to runners. Welded at around 80-90amps, and using solar flux on the back side.

@dorsey61 awesome machine, were you one of the people who purchased during the initial offer when AHP first came out ? I love my AHP, its such a beast and with the flexibility of 110 and 220v I've sold so many by word of mouth to alot of the shops I did fab work for. I taught them all very well, and with the controls that the machine offers like higher end Miller and Lincoln machines for 1/3 of the price used. Gave them enough room to budget in quality consumables.

@enohand nice work on getting the rust out, lead filler...a dying method of body work. Keep it up everyone !!!
