Thread: What did you weld today?

Nice. I would like to see Dyno # of this compared to the stock j pipe. It's stuff like this and the custom t2 manifolds that make t28 setups put down killer power.

this is the second full 3" of done. I have a jig now so may look into making other j pipes to see what works.

I have a buddy with stock VE and gtir turbo kit. stock t28. im trying to get his car in the shop to use as a test bead for T2 components.

On top of everything else I have going on! haha

What machine are you using Chris?

AHP Alpha Tig 200x.

Do you use a pedal to control the welder or the torch switch? The blob as you call it won't effect the weld, your welds look great. If you use the torch switch and have ramp up on your machine try that or just use a pedal to manually ramp up amperage. Great job!

Either way you can ease in and out of the heat to control your puddle. Torch or pedal...
