Heres some pics of an O2 Bung for a wideband.
weld bead didnt come out perfect due to high temp coating causing impurities.
had to double pass it.
penetration was good.

Pointiac Lemans
SBC engine
Doug's custom headers
custom 3" exhaust

Headers are mild steel
Bung mild steel
SS 308 filler rod
1/16th red tungsten
50-75 amps
11-15 argon gas flow

thanks. Its definetly not in the stock position... but i bet it's in the ballpark. I didnt have a stock manifold to compare when i was fabricating it. good luck on your build

Material Used: Aluminum 3.0" + 1.5" round tube, 14ga flat sheets 6061, repurposed Audi intercooler aluminum coupler lid, 5 weld on bungs from Vibrant
Weld Type: TIG AC @ 30-59A 100% Argon gas @ 20cfh, 1.5 Zirconiated Tungsten 3/32"
Clean Method: 3M scratch pad, soap and water, non chlorinated brake cleaner
Cut Method: Sawzall, jigsaw, MSC Band saw, flat files
Notes: Fully baffled inside, has drain back into block
