Thread: HOW TO: B13/B14 Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering

Just thought I bring some curiosity questions and bring this thread back to life for a possible update any update? Also @Mattick22 @KillerKrossover is the reason people don't use Mazda 3 eps is due to having a reservoir above the unit (aka 2 pieces & it's not actually 1 unit) vs mr2 (1 unit)? Just curious. Also The Altima is definitely longer then the two and not as good looking

To be honest I wasn't even aware that the Mazda 3 had this so it didn't come across my radar. I will be trying to complete this sub-project and thread this summer when I go visit my car. I am not sure if Ill be able to get to it since I would like to get it running before I spend time on steering.

ahhh gotcha @Mattick22 thanks for the heads up. Yeah Mazda does make a unit that's actually smaller then the Altima unit but not as compact as the desired mr2's (which make sense if you have an tight engine bay area or want a clean look). I just don't like how the reservoir is cheapy plastic that seems to crack (from pictures). Thanks for the current info guys
