What about doing reenforcing it like MotoIQ did, think it would be more feasible to preserve the emission components, I believe B15/P11 got even worse with emissions parts on the driver side of the car.

I gotcha, that makes a lot of sense now, I mainly skimmed through the article, thus I missed the driving style they were building on.

Vadim, if you look closely at the MotoIQ car, you will notice that the panhard bar is in front of the axle, not behind the axle. The progress sway bar would not allow me to install the panhard bar in front of the axle. Now if you are going to do a custom sway bar mount like they did, then by all means put thte panhard bar in front of the axle and brace it to the SRL mount like they did.

As far as moving the post goes, I will leave that up to the mods to see what they want to do. Perhaps a sticky here in the suspension thread? Let the people vote on it!

Yup I definitely saw that, I also wonder if panhard in front of beam would be better for clearance. In front you are near a fuel tank, back you have a spare wheel well, so choose your death.

I like the idea of using the stock location for mounting the support bar though, it should be sturdy and you don't have to run a mile long bar.

It's a technical How To, so I do think it belongs there, I will leave it here for additional traffic, after awhile I'll move it.

Added it to the Manifesto though.

Well done, for the beam.

Quite neat seeing these.

I wish I could contribute more to this thread but this is all slightly above my pay-grade!!

I will congratulate you on the effort and thank you for posting this up! I hope to do something similar to my B15, when the time is right. It will be nice to have this thread and hopefully others to reference when I am ready for this stuff.

I also want to thank you and congratulate for this amazing information. This will help others to be able to understand suspension dynamics and to be able to do this to our cars!!

I vote for this to be moved to how to...

Aren't those springs Hypercoils? They look just like the ones on my B14.

I sent you a PM with some questions, I look forward to a response.

You are probably right Kyle. I never shopped for either the Road Magnets or the other springs that were custom made for our cars (Hypercoils? Are they the progressive ones?) so I don't know all of the details. All I know is that the springs on my car are progressive and they ride really nice for a daily driver.

I replied to your PM.
