Just wanted to report back after 3 months of use that so far so good with these spacers. I've had my car completely loaded up, including a kayak on the roof, an inflatable kayak in the trunk, water, gear, and three people in the car and it did great. And the tire didn't hit the fender on bumps either. I have no idea how long they will last, but they didn't immediately break so I think they might just be up to the task. I still appreciate the new stance every time I walk up to my car.

Isfahan he's talking about the same thing i was talking bout but for sentra's. here is what i did for the frt. i'm on H&R's and the upgraded mounts helped a ton. i wanna do some for the rear with your spacer to get the wheel gap even. and do a taller one for the frt to get even more travel back.

Those front strut mounts you fab'd are pretty nice and will certainly help give you a bit more travel in your suspension as opposed to the spacers will only help stance. Post up pics of your final stance when you finish your spacers.

Nice job Isfahan! I have a set of Hyperco's on the way and will be making a set too. Unless you have any extra that you'd like to sell??

The 12x12 sheet has enough space to make about 5 spacers if you are careful enough, but I want to keep my extras in case one breaks. I do have some OEM (the banned company) spacers that they made me before they went south, which are 1" aluminum circles. They cost me $80. I didn't use them because I wasn't sure I wanted 1" higher, I was worried about clunking from the aluminum (shouldn't be a problem if tightened enough, right?), and because they did not drill the three holes correctly, so one hole would need to be slightly enlarged to work and I don't have the equipment to do that easily. If you are interested, I can PM you pics and you can name a price.

PS: Congratz on the Hypercos, is this your first set? I love mine!

Why are more people not getting hip to this! lol... Nic. I'm going to dip into this again. With the combination of this and the front changes, my car will handle just like it does now but I will actually like the stance again lol.

So just to clarify... After installing the spacer in the rear, this mod effectively lowered the front height just slightly (1/8") as well? I think 3/4" HDPE will work perfect for me as well...

Yes, according to my measurements it did lower the front just a hair. Between the measurements I tried to keep the weight of the vehicle equal and on the same level ground, but I cannot promise there was not another factor at play. We'll need a few more data points to confirm.

where's VQman, he needs to see this! I would rather raise the rear then try to lower the front more.

Yup. It's my first set. Currently I've got Ground Controls with AGX's. 350/300. They handle great but are a bit stiff for my taste. (Geez, I think I'm getting old...) I wanted to get the hyperco's but the "sag" in the rear bothered me. Now this problem looks solved.
My plan is to bring my car back to stock(ish) but still be able to have fun on the track and street.

Make some more and I bet you'll make a nice little profit on them!
Yeah, the OEM ones sound a bit too big.

Yes, this is an old thread, I got it. Thanks. Got to searching around for Koni stuff and stumbled across this thread.

That modded tophat is great. What amount of travel is that now giving you back? 3/4" maybe?
