spoogy, I got your pm, just forgot to answer it. I haven't driven the car since I installed the maxima calipers. I'll look at it today and get back to you.

I didn't have this problem when I did mine. Post some pics please to help you diagnose the issue.

I know exactly what his issue is. You talked about in the brake thread about your liking the P10 rear calipers because the dog ear is longer for hooking up the e-brake. That's the problem he's having with the maxima calipers; they're a little hard to hook up on B14's.

I know what you are talking about now. I hooked the e-brake cable to the caliper before mounting the caliper to the bracket. Then I bolted the caliper to the bracket. It was a little tough getting the caliper slide bolts to go in because the caliper didn't want to stay lined up. I used a pry bar to hold the caliper in place while I torqued the bolts. I think that addresses your issue, right?

Ok, when you hook up the ebrake cable first then mount the caliper, the cable I'm assuming is already tight and you backed up the nut at the ebrake lever all the way to get as much slack as possible, is the lever now very tight to pull, does ir fell like you are driving around with the ebrake slightly engaged?, thanks for the help guys, much appreciated

I didn't think to loosen it at the handle. That would probably have made the process easier.

After I did that, it amazed me how I even did it in the 1st place! I was gonna take pics, but happynole's got it right. As long as you loosen the e-brake first, its ridiculously easy. JUST REMEMBER TO RE-TIGHTEN IT!!!!!!!!!
