Thread: Sr2016 national convention official tread

Are we going to open it up to ALL Nissans?? I worry with how "tiny" our community is the turnout may be somewhat sparse

I typically post small bits of info on the B15u site. 99% have no interest since it doesn't start with 2jracing...lol

The turnout the past few years I have gone have been nice.

I wouldn't call a 800hp ek k20 build a typical honda ,just curious if we ever had or will have any similar, other forums have subaru vs Mitsubishi for example but i get it seems like people get bored over time like superbowl unlike soccer world cup every 4yrs looks like the world really comes together

It has happened in the past. I believe it was at Willow springs though and not at a drag strip. Mike kojima came out and a few others. Will it happen again? Probably not. Especially at the drag strip, the fwd Hondas are well ahead in the game compared to the fwd nissan cars. Now if rwd Nissans and datsuns were involved then that's a whole different story.

I didn't go check it out in person but I sure the hell recorded it on VHS (somewhere)!!!!! The games came along way for Nissan's with the little but yet a lot VE development.

This is predominantly for fwd sr20 vehicles though all are welcomed to join and participate. There are other events such as Nicofest that include all Nissan classes.

Being held in NJ area, the outcome shouldn't be a concern if the organizers properly promote the convention.

Im actually hoping to have my b14 ready this year, but if not would my 370z be allowed to come out to play? lol
