Correction...it's $250 going straight thru COTA; its' $200 thru Longhorn Racing Academy. But who wants to drive a race prepped Miata when you can drive a (insert pos car here)...

Harris Hill Road...

I'd go back to HH in a heartbeat. This is me being chased by a supercharged Miata.

I firmly believe that a convention should have a track day. Someone told me that other car groups that have conventions with track days usually go the easier route and join a track day already that is already secured and hosted by some othet entity such as Just Track It, Chen Motorsports, etc. Which saves on time, headaches, and usually saves money over doing it solo for the sake of an SR only event.

Bing fucking go! This point was stressed when taking suggestions for this past convention, but it fell on deaf ears. Hopefully the tune had changed since then

Yes...and? That's exactly the route I'm wanting to plan...you don't worry yourself about the minutiae.

Haven't all past conventions had track days lined up, which includes the last 5 conventions (where only 2 track days actually happened).

Atleast one of those was no fault of the planning committee @mirrortints (Nelson Ledges). Another was an oversight by the planning committee IMHO.

I hear you, but the plan has always been to have a track day.
