The way you worded it could easily be construed and taken as you being judgmental or an asshole. If you asked because you already knew then why not ask it in a way that actually SHEDS LIGHT on the situation rather than one that creates drama with more than one member of the forum?

I don't deny that posting the information that I POSTED is to everyone's benefit and that is a good thing. But your delivery sucks quite frankly and I think you like being dramatic just for the sake of the drama, putting yourself in the devil's advocate position, and the attention (albeit negative or positive) it calls to yourself.

People in the forums cloud KNOW the story by reading the first fucking page of this very thread, that contained a link to te SE-R.net post as well as looking at the award. It didn't take you asking a question in a shitty fucking way to point this out. In your fucked up head you probably think YOU brought The situation to light.

So here is where my lack of information on the subject came in.

I knew what the Matt Kemp Award was and not what it is now. I made the mistake in not knowing what the award has become an award of all the fallen forum members.

So this was my mistake and not anyone else's and for that I give my apology.

Wes this could have gone alot better if you had just asked me what I was getting at and not accusing me of something.

Lou, you and Rob are killing me over here. That compliment in the other thread, and now this? Accolades never so much as crossed my mind, I feel fortunate and privileged when I can contribute to or help out our community.

Oh, i wasn't sure if you saw this.

Shawn, you were a big help this year and expected nothing in return but to have a blast. Your even giving Rob the opportunity to bring his beloved b13 to his first convention. This was the least we can do.

I like how the award honers others who have passed away. Just brings us closer as a community.
May the Matt Kempe award live on until the last SR20 powered vehicle drives its last mile.
