5w-30 mobil 1 full synthetic. car had 263k miles on the original DE though.

From what I'm reading about Rotella, I might have to try that stuff. Would it be okay for a turbo motor?

Yes, diesel oil is made for turbos

This might be old news, but I just read that quaker state q horsepower 5w40 the one certified for ferrari's is actually shell helix ultra. I'll have to give that a try some time later.

The German Castrol is at a local Pep Boys, but costs $7 a quart! Should I just get that and run that?

Yes if you want to save money. Back here in the West Autozone is having a special on the Castrol Edge. Save $3 per quart! That makes it only $5/quart!

Can the German Castrol 0w20 be used in any weather environment?

I have just been made aware that the Rotella 5w40 is reformulated to meet the CJ4 standards now. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing though. Could be either one, since it required a reformulation to meet the CJ4 foaming and emissions standards.

i run 0w-50 amsoil sso signature series oil with amsoil filter...only other oil i would run would be the eneos 0w-50 fully synth...none of that mobil 1 BS
