i havent read the whole thread just flicked through it, but my question is;
OF THE CARS THAT GOT ROD KNOCK, HOW MANY OF THEM WHERE RUNNING LIGHTENED PULLEYS?
biggest factors for rod knock are:
crappy lightened pulleys
high oil temps
sustained limiter abuse (more a rwd thing when drifting)
high revs
run all of these together and and you are asking for trouble.
i will NEVER run a lightened crank pulley on a sr, ever! the only time i would change would be for a heavier unit like a ross item.
