I think thats what im gonna go with after the breakin on my build. Its funny cuz the last semi build i did it ran fine for 1k miles of breakin on regular 10w30 then when i switched to synthetic mobil1 5w30 the night before going to the track i got a collapsed lifter after about 100 miles worth of driving, Go figure and then boom there went the semi build. haha. So only difference was i was not using a mobil1 filter at that time. Now i use both and have had no problems at all. Im definetly gonna go with the thicker oil especially with the higher temps coming up. Gonna want the extra protection and cusion with a 500whp build.
