Man, I know how you feel. This was my first new car. I bought it back in Oct. 1992. I planned on keeping this engine around for a long time! It wasn't supposed to die this soon!

Now to find out if I just spun a bearing, or there's something worse... 
Likely just to be a bearing change though, if the crank checks out.
