Raul an I booked our rooms. If anyone wants to room it with us let me know. We would split the total price

We originally asked for 30 rooms to be reserved, and for them to be released back into the availability pool after today. We chose that number after the somewhat disappointing results from Chicago and Vegas, and not wanting to get burned with too many rooms. I spoke with the sales manager a few minutes ago and we have now booked 41 rooms. Way to go guys.
In fact, we have done so well that they have extended our offer for an additional 2 weeks.
After my conversation with the hotel sales manager, and the fact that we have booked 41 rooms up to this point, they decided to extend the discount rate to our members for all rooms booked until February 10th.

Dang we must be doing some good business to them

When I talked to the clerk on the phone, he asked me if I had a group code, when I mentioned the SRTN code, he said he figured that would be it. He said they have been getting a lot of reservations

I thought about flying the wifey in, but we're needing to save some money for the move out East. It's a lot easier for me to just drive down from jersey anyway, so I'm shipping the car to CT to get some last minute things fixed on it

TeKKiE, you wanted a king sized bed for yourself man?

BTW Shipping the car? That's gonna cost a pretty penny man

Wonder why there's only 40 rooms booked, though. Seriously should be more than that coming!

Yeah but I'd have to ship it anyway, when I move to MD. Makes sense just to ship it now, and get it tuned/running right to drive it to the convention.

I ALWAYS have to have a King sized bed. I love sprawling out

I push the wife off of our Queen size bed all the time. I told her we needed a California King size, but she didn't believe me

As an aside, I'm now back in a tentative status for going to the convention We have a major conference in Germany that just got pushed to the left (22 March to 1 April), and I will be running the whole show up here at Ft. Monmouth while they're enjoying themselves on the ski slopes. I'm going to see if I can wing taking leave for Thursday and Friday during the convention. If not, I won't be going
