Don't think I will be attending (driving) on the track day. I don't feel my car is worthy enough at this point.

I do have a question, however. Is it possible for noobs to have ride alongs with intermediate/advanced driver groups? Just so that we can feel what it's like to be on a track? I don't want to sideline the whole day, that'd get pretty boring pretty quickly.

Sorry to hear that you won't be driving. Intermediate and advanced groups can have riders, in fact they almost always do. Only the beginners are not allowed to have any riders other than an instructor.

Nice, thanks It's a long drive back up to Jersey, and I really don't want to encounter any issues that won't have the car driving me back north on Sunday. I'd really like to do the track day, but I have a fear of screwing up the car and not being able to drive back

I wish I could make it Gentleman. Unfortunately I have a design competition I'm pretty sure I have to attend for school. I hope you guys have a good time. RR is a fun track. Good turnout for friday so it should be a nice day out for the SE-R folk.

I just got off the phone with Kaye. No riders during open lapping sessions under the age of 18. However, we can have a "parade lap" at the end of lunch to get our kids/spouses/etc on the track. Lunch is approx 12-1, and we can do the parade lap at 12:45 while the track is "closed". We would have a pace car, speeds not to exceed 45 miles per hour, helmets not required. Probobly great photo op as well.
