they only have a 1/8 mile track in savannah. I have been there a few times. I think darlington is the closest 1/4 mile track but still would be 3hrs away. Its a straight shot on I-95 though.

Guys I could care less if the track is 300miles away. Think about how fun the ride there and back is going to be not to mention that we will have a HUGE ass crew rolling. Then when we get there we will have a ball.

I mean cmon! Look at all the friendly **** talking going on in here! Everybody keeps on talking and some of the big boys might actually show us what they got!

Darlington would be cool because DougO lives less than a mile from the track and can tow broken cars home. I not sure if he is going to be at the convention though.

As far as I know I think Fred C, myself and 1 other guy are the only ones that have went 10s. That one guy went 9s... All the money and parts in the world do no good without a nice LOW timeslip...

There is no way I am bringing my car for an 1/8th mile track. My car wont even hook in the 1/th LOL.
I wonder if anyone will run 6s in the 1/8th?

Haha, just saw this and I live a little further than a mile, more like 7
Darlington is somewhat picky on Saturdays for test and tune (like only allow slicks) mainly due to their bracket racing going on that day as well. However, possibly in March 09, the bracket season won't be started yet, and they'll allow street tires at the test and tune (like all of their scheduled test and tunes).
