my father recommended scorpion helmets, went on their website, prices are good and he says they are very good helmets, thats what he wears.

theres a scorpion dealer maybe 20 mins from me, i can go try their sizing and if they don't have the style i want they can order it for me.

Stratt, those are probably all M rated helmets. You need an SA for a car.

Snell Memorial Foundation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
M2005 or M2010 Motorcycle helmets
SA2005 Auto racing helmets
SA2010 - 2010 Helmet Standard For Use in Competitive Automotive Sports

Here's the problem with that. Let's say the DO check helmets? You now spend $150 for the cheapest full face Scorprion helmet. You get to the track only to find you cannot run it. You have just wasted $150...

Spend the slight extra on an SA helmet. They hold resale value better if you decide to sell it. If you ever want to do another track day you don't have to worry...

G-Force Pro Eliminator SA2005 Helmet - SafeRacer

$45 more for the above SA helmet.
