How come there isn't a convention for all SE-R? wouldn't the turn out be higher if you include the newer versions like the Spec V? After all the B13-14 are going to way of the dinosaur. Btw shoot me if this hasn't been brought up before

I'd guess you've never been to a convention before. The best part of the weekend is the time you get to spend with everyone. The track day is a bonus (and a heck of a good time). If you want to come to the convention with a non sr powered car, you are more than welcome to. The thing that brought us all together in the first place is our sr20 powered cars, and thus it remains the central focus of the convention.

No haven't been to one. Just heard from a friend who went and he said it was a small turn out. Why not extend the invite to other boards like MyspecV.com? Mix it up with the new models and show them why they don't make them as good as they use too. Just a thought, prob a nightmare to organize tho.

A small turnout amongst friends is better than a huge free for all that can get out of hand.

We've had local SR20 meets, and local full blown Nissan meets in my area, I prefer the SR20 meets, since its more of a get together with friends.

Plus, spec v guys are ricers

All are welcome. We have tons of 'all nissan' type of conventions. Look towards NICO for the all nissan get togethers. they are very popular and have large turn outs.

we will NEVER turn anyone away. Most the time people who come to the sr20 conventions are people who dont own a sr20 anymore...like me. But the orginal 'focus' or 'charter' is a convention for sr20's. then nissans.

by all means promote it around to the spec v boys and girls. they are welcome to come, just the first preference is to sr20 people. Yes they are a dying breed.... but hey...dont kill them off just yet
