As for BBQ, I'm down to try a new place that has good reviews. I hear Franklins (#1 on this list) is VERY good but the line starts stupid early for lunch, often taking hours. I've had some extremely good BBQ and my standards are very high...the Salt Lick (#8 on list) shouldn't have even made the list, IMO. I can't see me waiting even 1 hour for the best BBQ in the world. That being said, we could also visit some other local BBQ hot spots like Luling City Market, Cooper's in New Braunfels, or Krietz or Black's in Lockhart.

I will be bringing my red p11 det Auto from Houston, and my Dad will be bringing his single owner 98 200SX SE-R from Baycity.

I'm cool with anything, but don't have a driveable SR20 vehicle at the moment...

OK so Saturday, October 17th is the scheduled day...less than TWO WEEKS AWAY!!!! Not much planned other than GoKarts at K1 and food somewhere. We could have some lunch, then hit K1 for karts, and chill in their parking lot for the evening? I haven't been to the K1 parking lot on Saturday nights but I hear it's a hot spot. I usually go to Cabela's in Buda but mainly because it's closer...there's usually a wide mix of cars there but mostly American Muscle.

Ideas are welcome.

Oct 17th works for me. K1 offers a free room when you book a party before the Oct. 31st.

Yea, apparently that was a secret meat by secret invite only It became that way when the OP childishly closed the entire thread, deleted all it's info, and severed all communication EXCEPT to those he wanted to go. WAH!

Back to important stuff....

I just spoke with Victoria in the Group Sales Dept at K1 Speed regarding booking the event on the 17th. Currently, the whole day is open and we can schedule our time whenever...but we need to lock it in sooner than later! I'm guessing after lunch, around 3pm would be a good go-kart starting time but would like to hear from the masses. WOOT!

Thank you @Alex_se_r for mentioning that about the free room. I did confirm this with Victoria..."complimentary private room for up to 2hrs" which we will qualify for! And a WOOT! WOOT!

Any other suggestions on go-kart time?

I am liking the middle package. It's kinda steep at $60, but the Grand Prix looks like a pretty awesome deal...
