Nah, no point in embarassing them with how much more we know about cars
I've got the cruise route done! It's gonna be a killer run, you're gonna love it. Good mix of driving and a little down-time between sections. The roads are smooth enough we shouldn't have any clearance issues, unless you're so low a beer can won't roll under your car. I'll have route instructions (and hopefully maps) at the meet on Saturday.
Here's a list of suggestions for the cruise:
1. Start with a full tank of gas. It's not that long, but you don't want to get stuck out on these roads waiting for someone to bring you gas.
2. Bring 2-way radios. This is mostly for if we experience problems on the route.
3. Bring along something to snack on and drink during the cruise. There may or may not be a pit stop along the way.
4. Bring a small set of tools, just in case something happens (I'll have my bag with me).
5. Finally, PLEASE play nice with the locals. In other words, no stupid stuff (racing, reving engines, burnouts, illegal passing, etc.) while we're passing through. We want to be able to come back and be welcomed back.
6. Actually, #5 goes for the entire cruise. We want have fun but not at the risk of anyone getting hurt. This won't be your normal sunday drive, but we're not going to break any speed records either.
Any questions or ideas let me know. See y'all there!
