At this point, having not even seen the car yet, I don't have definite plans. I will say that if the car is fixable, I'll be putting it on the road. Her initial email told me that it is dark blue, decent but fading is some spots paint, and no frame damage. And that her brother in law tried to fix the original "slung piston" motor, but got a "locked up" motor and gave up. I am waiting on a phone number so I can get an address and go look at the car in person.

Just got off the phone with the car's owner. It is an automatic and is supposed to be in good shape. Kimme and I are going to take a look at it in the morning.

I became the 2nd owner today. The original owner bought it in Texas and moved to Georgia in July of 2007. Car has 118,900 miles on it. It had a bunch of original paperwork in the glove box incuding the origanl new vehicle delivery checklist, the key code tag, and maintainence records up to 70,620 miles. It is actually slate grey with t-tops, auto tranny, and the power package. Needs a dash (too much Texas sun!), but the rest of the interior is mint. I'm thinking the motor may still work, as I saw several hook ups that were wrong in my initial inspection today.

happynole, if the se-r dash is the same as the nx dash i have one i'd basically give to you if you came to pick it up. or i'd meet you somewhere for a few dollars. congrats on the steal!
