What type of cars are going to be at this event? I ran my Z there several years back and had a blast. I really want to run the LE-R there in all it's GA16DE glory LOL. I think the Juke would be too dangerous at Road Atlanta with it's height with the longer straights. When I did AMP last year in the Juke I was doing indicated 118-120mph coming through Turn 15 and out of Turn 16 balls out.

Reading the original post it sounds like the Intermediate group will be "full of good drivers in Miatas, Minis, Acuras, and the like as well as newer to track life guys with nice cars not yet ready to go balls out with the advanced group."

@happynole would be the best person to answer the question of what the handful of us SR20 folks will be bringing.

If you're comfortable on the track by yourself, know the flags and etiquette, and are quick with the point-bys I don't see why you couldn't bring a GA16DE into the Intermediate group. But that's me. If you want real advice talk to Joe or the folks running the event.

The novice/beginner group has now sold out. Our group (intermediate) still has spaces left but the hosts anticipate it selling out soon. Jump in quickly if you don't want to miss out.

As far as what I know, so far our group has at least a couple Miatas, an NX, an SE-R racecar, an M3 hatch, an MR-2, either a G35 or a corvette, and my own P10. I know @hammerin hank was thinking about it so that would add an M5 and if @1fastser finishes there will be a turbo B13 as well. I have no idea what @95g atl is bringing.

The new radiator and oil cooler are kicking ass and taking names.

I broke down and bought a SS braided hydraulic clutch line to install because it has finally gotten so bad with the heat and the 13-year-old rubber line that I'm having major issues with the engagement point.
So that means I have the clutch line plus a 4-wheel brake job left to do.

I filleted my left thumb last Saturday with a bread knife (so much blood), so I need to wait and heal up before any more work gets done.
It's going to be tight, but I am still on schedule!

If it were just a cut, I'd have done that and been fine after a day or two...
I sliced off a dime sized circle of skin and there is no super glue-ing this thing. I just have to wait it out until the skin grows back.

Been there, seen that. Brother fell and sliced a decent half-dollar sized flap of meat back. Exposing muscle, ligaments, lots of insides. It was disgusting. When you are in the field, and have to keep working instead of bleeding, you super glue that bish shut and get back to work.

He also wipes his butt with poison ivy, oak, sumac, etc.... He is invulnerable and I have witnessed this since he is my brother and all.

Yah, if it were a flap I would have glued it shut. The skin came off and I have no idea where it went. I ate the bread I was cutting, so maybe I ate it too.

Well, at least you ate that bread. I would have ate it also.
