Thread: Snow & Ice strangles Atlanta

I was excited about hooning around in the M two nights ago. We went out and had some fun, however after a while it became clear that the car has way too much traction (even with wide summer tires) to have any safe fun. Speeds got up there quickly and traction loss wasn't nearly as easy to come by as I'd expected. Parked her pretty quickly and have decided I've had enough of that in the M for a life time.

Oh yah, and ABS in the snow is a death wish. That traction loss was early and often! If I ever have to go out in the snow again, that fuse will be pulled. I should have known better.

Now that's just offensive.

But really, 2"-3" of snow compared to a hurricane? All you have to do in the snow is S-L-O-W T-H-E F-U-C-K D-O-W-N. Why that concept is so had to grasp down there is beyond me.

Just saw the forecast for y'all. Stock up and stay safe down there.

Last week was a mess. I was stuck at home for 3 days because I couldn't get up any of the hills to get out of my neighborhood.
