Dominic, are you planning on getting there by dinner time on Wednesday the 5th?

Edit: Just looked at a map. Mike, you're the farthest away from ATL! I do not know how this area of the country is laid out. =/

Well, this is the first proposal for our route and timing.



Mike, this means you and the Charleston crew would leave around noon to get to me and the Columbia crew before 2 pm with a little leeway to spare. The caravan leaves Columbia at 2 pm and gets to Dominic and the Greenville crew around 4 pm with hopefully a little time to spare. From there the caravan heads to the hotel area and should make it with plenty of time for a relaxed dinner before the hotel meet-up at 9 pm. (That is usually when the meet-up happens.)

I'm fine with this schedule. I've been committed to going to the convention since it was announced!

We are going to need to nail down exact meeting spots in each city. We need a meeting spot in Columbia and Greenville. Possibly Charleston as well if people are meeting there. @cortrim1 you post up a meeting spot in Charleston if folks are meeting there. I'll figure out where to meet in Columbia, and @klassickrican you should probably tell us all where to meet in Greenville.

Meeting spots should preferably be RIGHT off the interestate if at all possible at a rest stop or similar. Or a house if you live very close to the highway.

What highway will you guys be taking I85? Can somebody figure out where along the route I can meet up with you all?
