actually i need help getting my fans running we jumped power to them and they worked. I also checked fuses, relays and made a new clip for the fan switch and still nothing. The only thing that came up as fishy is the the control circuit wasnt putting out any kind of power. And when i turn the ignition on my fans kick but then nothing

If your having problems with the cooling fans Nissan data scan is good for that. You can force the fans to cut on from the software to help track down where the issue is.

what year car is it? I can look up the wire on the ecu that triggers the fans. Then you can just ground it. If the fans cut on then you have a issue with the ecu or possibly the head temp sensor.

My nissan data scan is a obd1 version and I am not sure if my palmer scan allows me to force the fans on. I do have the fsm for that year car.

The ecu is responsible for turning the fans on. I would check the head temp sensor. There are two sending units one has a spade connector. That one goes to the gauge in the dash. The other one is a two pin connector that uses a metal retaining clip. the sending unit should be blue in color. That sending unit tells the ecu what the coolant temp is and when to cut the fans on and off. if you know the fans work then you only have the fan relay, the head temp sensor, ecu or possible wiring issue. Both sending units are located on the passenger side of the motor under the intake manifold.
