We have a tight knit group in Raleigh. Sadly Ive watched alot of these guys come and go though. Still have a few Hardcore Guys in Raleigh Like me and Scrildo. Theres also a few other guys. But they are in Fayettville/everywhere else. We all help each other out as much as we can....Scrildo AKA Jerry will be late for his own funeral or just wont show so keep that in mind if he offers you help Josh is good people too but his car is slow and he has no cell phone! Friggen weirdos

How long is that drive? I hear speed limits around there are like 55 lol

cool! I Google mapped from New Bern to Raleigh (NC State) and it said it was about 112 miles or somewhere around that, but it said it would take 2 hrs and 40 minutes LOL

I was like WTF!!! around here you cover 100 miles or so in about 1 hr 30 min.

Someone mentioned to me that the speed limits are slower out there and that most highways are 2 lane roads. Of course thats all here-say, so I figured Id ask one of you guys who may make such a drive often.

Reason I ask is because I will be interested in doing grad work at NC State and trying to gauge the driving time required.

my sister in law drives from newport to raleigh to take classes at NC state, no idea how long it takes her, but she isnt known for driving the speed limit either...

lol..I hear ya. I don't mind goin a little over in the sake of saving time as long as the smokies arent around Next time you talk to her ask her what kinds of times she averages to NC State....seems to be about the same drive Id be looking at.

I would probably only have to go 1-2 times a week tops (I hope), so even if it took 2 hours it wouldnt be the end of the world, but just tryin to plan ahead as much as possible...
